This Privacy Policy explains how NeetClass(operated by BotCode) ("NeetClass", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the NeetClass website and application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Learning data. Your selected exam (NEET UG or PG), chosen subject areas, assessment results, practice attempts, scores, and progress within the Service.
- Questions you ask. Text you submit to the AI tutor in order to generate explanations, references, and video suggestions.
- Technical data. Basic technical information such as browser type and access times, used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, personalize, and improve the Service.
- To assess your knowledge, build study plans, track scores, and generate practice questions and tutor answers.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To respond to your requests and provide support.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service. Your information may be processed by:
- Google (Sign-In). Used for authentication. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Supabase. Provides authentication and database hosting for your account and learning data.
- Google Gemini API. Generates practice questions and tutor answers. Question text you submit is sent to this service to produce a response.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and database access controls (row-level security so users can only access their own data). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
6. Your Rights
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Withdraw consent and stop using the Service at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for students preparing for medical entrance examinations. If you are a minor, please use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age required by applicable law without appropriate consent.
